The mission of the Utah Association for Intellectual Disabilities is to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families by providing opportunities that enhance their quality of life.
UAID envisions a Utah in which all low-income adults with disabilities are given opportunities and access to resources. UAID provides safe, enriching opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities, their families and friends – opportunities that can build valuable relationships, help individuals to acquire new skills and just have fun! UAID is a volunteer organization committed to support individuals with no fees.UAID is not a service provider in the typical sense. Rather, we seek opportunities to add value to peoples’ lives beyond the services of other agencies and service providers and to collaborate with individuals and organizations who share our commitment to enhance the life quality of people with intellectual disabilities.
